Medan, 11 March 2026 – In the framework of enlivening the holy month of Ramadhan and as a form of social concern for the surrounding community, PT PPK held the Pelindo Berbagi Ramadhan 2026 activity on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the old office of PT Pelindo Regional 1, Jalan Krakatau Ujung No. 100.
This activity is part of a social program initiated by the Pelindo Group and implemented by PT PPK as a form of the company’s contribution in strengthening relations with the community and spreading the spirit of sharing in this month full of blessings.
In its implementation, PT PPK distributed aid to the community through three main activities, namely donations to orphans, distribution of basic food packages (sembako), and distribution of takjil (fast-breaking snacks) to the surrounding community.
The aid distributed in this activity included donations to 25 orphans, distribution of basic food packages to 50 beneficiaries, and the distribution of 75 takjil packages for community members passing around the activity location.
Acting Director of PT PPK, Sutanto, conveyed that this activity is a concrete manifestation of the company’s commitment to providing benefits to the surrounding environment.
“Through this Pelindo Berbagi Ramadhan 2026 program, we hope to bring happiness and ease the burden of the community around the company’s environment, especially in this holy month of Ramadhan which is full of blessings. This activity is also a momentum for us to strengthen silaturahmi (communal ties) and foster a spirit of togetherness between the company and the community,” said Sutanto.
He also added that PT PPK will continue to strive to present social programs that provide a positive impact for the community and the surrounding environment. Hariyani, one of the recipients of the basic food package, expressed her gratitude and thanks for the attention given by PT PPK.
“We are very grateful and thankful to PT PPK for the aid given; this aid is very meaningful for us, especially in the month of Ramadhan. May PT PPK become more advanced and continue to be able to provide benefits for the community,” she expressed.
Through the Pelindo Berbagi Ramadhan 2026 activity, PT PPK hopes to continue fostering values of social concern, strengthening harmonious relationships with the community, and providing a positive contribution to the surrounding environment.
