Medan, November 12, 2024 — PT. Prima Pengembangan Kawasan (PT. PPK) as a subsidiary of PT. Pelindo Solusi Logistik (PT. PSL), which is part of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) (Pelindo Group), signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Joint Marketing of Industrial Areas with PT. Kawasan Industri Nusantara (PT. KINRA) last Wednesday night.
PT. PPK was represented by Plt. Director Sutanto, and PT. KINRA was represented by V.T. Moses Situmorang as director. This Memorandum of Understanding aims to strengthen and develop industrial areas managed by both companies to build strategic partnerships and increase added value for both parties.
This collaboration is a manifestation of PT. PPK and PT. KINRA’s commitment to providing modern, efficient, and environmentally friendly industrial area infrastructure, which is ready to support investment from various industrial sectors. This synergy is expected to increase the productivity of the industrial area being managed, as well as attract national and international investors to invest in the area.
President Director of PT. Prima Pengembangan Kawasan, Sutanto, expressed his optimism towards this collaboration. “Collaboration with PT. KINRA is an important step to accelerate the operation of the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Area. With PT. KINRA’s experience and network, we hope to bring tenants to KIKT and share knowledge in managing a modern industrial area,” he said. Meanwhile, Director of PT. KINRA, VT Moses Situmorang, added that his party is ready to support PT. PPK in various aspects, starting from sharing knowledge related to industrial area management, infrastructure development, and technology to efficient area management. “We hope that this partnership will not only strengthen the business of both companies but also provide mutual benefits for both parties. With the increasing development of these two industrial areas, it is hoped that they will be able to provide more job opportunities and increase economic growth in the surrounding areas,” he explained.
