Medan, December 2024 — PT. Prima Pembangunan Kawasan (PPK), as a subsidiary of PT. Pelindo Solusi Logistik (PT. PSL), which is part of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) (Pelindo Group), is very concerned about the health of all its workers. For this reason, the company held a routine health check-up (medical check-up/MCU) program at PT. Prodia Widyahusada recently (November 25-30, 2024).
Based on the statement of the acting director of PT. Prima Pengembangan Kawasan, Sutanto, as many as 21 workers had their health checked by undergoing a series of tests in the form of physical examinations, treadmills, electrocardiography, and laboratory tests. Workers can also convey complaints about their health and will then be given medication for recovery.
“This MCU activity is a form of social and environmental responsibility at PT. Prima Pembangunan Kawasan, especially to maintain the health of workers in the company, because health is one of the main aspects of life. If health is not a concern, then the smooth running of daily activities will certainly be disrupted,” he said.
“Employee health is an important asset for the company. Through this health check, we hope to detect potential health problems early on so that preventive measures can be taken earlier,” said Sutanto later.
