Kuala Tanjung (June 2, 2025) – PT Prima Pengembangan Kawasan (PT PPK) welcomed a visit from the Board of Commissioners and Directors of PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik (SPSL) as part of efforts to strengthen synergy and advance the development of the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Estate.
PT Prima Pengembangan Kawasan (PT PPK) is a subsidiary of PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik (PT PSL), which is part of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) (Pelindo Group).
The visit was led directly by the President Commissioner of PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik, Mr. Fachry Ali, accompanied by Independent Commissioner Mr. Abdulhamid Dipopramono, Commercial and Technical Director of PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik Mrs. Ruri Indrasari Rachmaputri, as well as committee members. The delegation was welcomed by the Acting Director of PT Prima Pengembangan Kawasan, Mr. Sutanto, along with the management team at the Kuala Tanjung Site Office.
This visit aimed to review the progress of the strategic industrial area and evaluate further development potential to support initiatives for increasing logistics and industrial capacity in North Sumatra.
In his remarks, President Commissioner Mr. Fachry Ali emphasized the importance of expediting the land certification process and consolidating scattered land parcels. He also expressed hope that PT PPK, as the subsidiary specifically managing the Industrial Estate, would demonstrate more aggressive and progressive performance in infrastructure development.
“As a subsidiary, PT PPK is expected to be more focused, adaptive, and responsive to the needs of industrial companies. The development of the estate is a major responsibility of the Company’s Board and Management. Therefore, strong commitment and tangible actions are essential to drive this area as a growth engine for industry in North Sumatra,” said Fachry Ali.
Responding to this, Sutanto, as Acting Director of PT PPK, stated that the company has taken various acceleration measures in operating the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Estate (KIKT).
“PT PPK is currently preparing to commence the construction of basic infrastructure for the Industrial Estate, such as the gate and access road, which will begin at the end of this month,” Sutanto explained during his presentation.
This visit forms part of PT SPSL’s strategic efforts to build synergy so that its business units can strengthen governance in industrial estate development as a concrete contribution to both regional and national economic development.
