Medan, 2 December 2025 – High rainfall has caused several residential areas near PT PPK’s project site to be flooded. This condition disrupted residents’ daily activities and left some families facing difficulties in meeting their basic daily needs. In response to this situation, PT PPK moved swiftly to provide support to help ease the burden on the community.
As a form of concern for residents living around the project area, PT PPK distributed 30 basic food aid packages to flood-affected communities in Kuala Tanjung Village, Batu Bara Regency. This assistance was provided to help meet basic needs and support post-disaster recovery efforts.
The distribution of aid took place on November 29, 2025, with each package containing essential food items that could be immediately used by residents affected by the flooding.
The Director of PT PPK, Mr. Sutanto, stated that the company is committed not only to building infrastructure but also to being present for the community.
“We understand that this flood disaster has had a significant impact on residents. Our presence is not only to carry out projects, but also to deliver tangible benefits to the surrounding environment. We hope this assistance can help the recovery process and provide relief to affected families,” he said.
PT PPK will continue to support social initiatives and play an active role in post-disaster recovery efforts as part of the company’s commitment to sustainability and community welfare.
