In 2015, the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) stated that Indonesia’s food & beverage industry is one of the most popular FDI investment destinations in Indonesia.

To support the acceleration and expansion of economic development in Indonesia, the central government has identified ‘food & beverage’ as one of the key national economic activities.
The limited downstream food & beverage industry in North Sumatra, coupled with high demand growth, will create a sufficiently large market.
Wide access and proximity to raw materials from farms, plantations, and fisheries.
