PT Prima Pengembangan Kawasan Strengthens Environmental Management through Cooperation with PT Sumatera Deli Lestari Indah in Kuala Tanjung Industrial Zone

Medan, 16 April 2026 – PT Prima Pengembangan Kawasan (PT PPK) officially established strategic cooperation with PT Sumatera Deli Lestari Indah (PT SDLI) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which was held on Wednesday (16/04) at 10.00 WIB, located in the Meeting Room of PT Prima Pengembangan Kawasan.

The signing of the MoU was conducted by the Acting Director of PT Prima Pengembangan Kawasan, Mr. Sutanto together with the President Director of PT Sumatera Deli Lestari Indah, Mr. Andreas Tantono. This cooperation covers the management, administration as well as marketing and centralized waste and water management in the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Zone. This collaboration becomes a strategic step in supporting the development of an industrial zone that is integrated, efficient, and environmentally oriented.

In his remarks, the Acting Director of PT PPK Mr. Sutanto, conveyed that this cooperation is part of the company’s commitment in presenting an industrial zone that is not only competitive business-wise, but also responsible towards environmental aspects. “This cooperation is an important step for PT PPK in strengthening the centralized waste and water management system in the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Zone. We believe that good environmental management will become one of the key factors in increasing the competitiveness of the zone as well as attracting the interest of investors,” said Sutanto.

Furthermore, he added that PT PPK continues to strive to present integrated and high-standard zone services in order to support tenant operations optimally. Meanwhile, the President Director of PT SDLI, Mr. Andreas Tantono conveyed appreciation for the trust given by PT PPK in this cooperation.

“We welcome this collaboration as an opportunity to present waste and water management solutions that are effective, efficient, as well as in accordance with applicable environmental standards. We are optimistic this synergy can provide added value for the management of the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Zone as a whole,” expressed Andreas Tantono.

Through this cooperation, both parties are committed to developing a centralized waste and water management system that is reliable, sustainable, as well as capable of supporting environmentally friendly industrial growth in the zone.

The signing of this MoU also becomes part of the efforts of PT PPK in strengthening the role as an industrial zone developer that not only focuses on infrastructure development, but also on the provision of support services oriented towards sustainability, operational efficiency, as well as compliance towards environmental regulations.

With the existence of this cooperation, it is hoped that the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Zone can increasingly develop as a modern industrial zone that has high competitiveness, at the same time becoming an example of the application of good environmental management in Indonesia.
