Medan, January 15, 2024 — To commemorate the National Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Month carried out by the Government every January 12 to February 12 each year, PT. Prima Pembangunan Kawasan (PPK) is a subsidiary of PT. Pelindo Solusi Logistik (SPSL) also participated in the National K3 Month Commemoration Roll Call Activity held by PT. Pelindo Multi Terminal (SPMT) at the Shorebase Field of Belawan Port on January 12, led by the President Director of SPMT, Yon Irawan, and attended by Pelindo Group Employees.
In his remarks, Yon Irawan conveyed the Direction of the Indonesian Minister of Manpower which stated that one of the important keys to the Development of a superior employment ecosystem is to build a good K3 culture. With a superior K3 culture, it can reduce the number of work accidents and work-related diseases, thereby increasing work productivity.
In a different place, President Director of PT PPK Jansen Sitohang said that PT PPK not only participated in the Roll Call activity but would also hold other activities, “We always advise workers to pay attention to Health and Safety at work. In commemoration of this K3 Month, PT PPK will also make public service advertisements through social media about the importance of K3”. Said Jansen (15/01). For your information, the goal of the 2024 National K3 Month is to increase awareness and fulfillment of K3 norms and guarantee K3 protection in all business sectors, one of which is the importance of maintaining the highest level of health for workers in the industrial world so that there are no accidents or occupational diseases. In its implementation, the 2024 National K3 Month, the Ministry of Manpower took the theme “Cultivate K3, Healthy and Safe at Work, Maintain Business Continuity”.
