Medan, March 12, 2024 — PT. Prima Pengembangan Kawasan (PT. PPK) is a subsidiary of PT. Pelindo Solusi Logistik (SPSL) which is part of PT. Pelindo (Persero) (Pelindo Group) has successfully executed 9 land plots in Kuala Tanjung Village, Sei Suka District, Batu Bara Regency, North Sumatra Province. This execution is a continuation of the land acquisition process for public interest, namely the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Area which is one of the National Strategic Projects.
On March 6 and 7, 2024, through the order of the Head of the Kisaran District Court, the Clerk and Bailiff of the Kisaran District Court executed 6 land plots consigned/deposited at the Kisaran District Court. The activity was assisted in securing by the Batu Bara Police as security in the field and was attended by representatives of PT. PPK, PT. Pelindo (Persero), Kuala Tanjung Village Government, and Babinkamtibmas. This execution is a continuation of the execution that was carried out in mid-December 2023, where out of a total of 9 plots of land planned to be executed, only 3 plots were successfully executed. The other 6 plots could not be executed due to rejection from the residents of the house and there was an ownership dispute at the Kisaran District Court.
President Director of PT. Prima Pengembangan Kawasan (PPK), Akhirman, said “The execution yesterday was one of the blessings of the coming of the holy month of Ramadan 1445 H. This is marked by the smooth execution process where the house’s residentshave been able to accePT. and understand that the land and their houses are being executed in the interests of the state”.
Akhirman also added, “I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all parties involved in the execution, such as the Head of the Kisaran District Court and his staff, the Batu Bara Police Chief and his staff, the Kuala Tanjung Village Government, the Babinkamtibmas and especially to all PT. PPK employees who have worked hard by prioritizing peaceful methods and approaching the Execution Respondent so that the execution can run smoothly and peacefully”. The next program is certification and licensing for the establishment of the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Area (KIKT). KIKT is one of the National Strategic Projects (PSN) determined by the Government based on Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 81 of 2018 concerning the Acceleration of Development and Operation of Ports and KIKT in North Sumatra Province. “In 2024, PT. PPK will focus on basic infrastructure development activities and will invite potential investors both domestically and abroad and it is hoped that the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Area which has the advantage of being located close to Kuala Tanjung Port and the hinterland in the area around KIKT can attract big investors to establish their industries in KIKT so that it can have an impact on increasing the economy of the community and Batu Bara Regency.” continued Akhirman.
