Spsl Group Implements Kmap Batch 4 Refreshment

Medan, June 4, 2024 — SPSL Group held a KMAP Batch 4 Refreshment activity, last Monday, June 3, 2024 at the Grha Pelindo Building, Selat Malaka Room, 7th Floor. This activity was attended by representatives from SPSL Group Subsidiaries located in the Medan area or Regional 1, namely PT. Prima Pembangunan Kawasan, PT. Prima Indonesia Logistik, and PT. Prima Multi Peralatan.

The activity which lasted for 1 day, was a continuation of the Knowledge Map Roadmap program which is currently entering the Knowledge Map Update phase. This event was hosted by Mr. Alvin Soleh, Consultant from KMPlus Consulting. Participants received re-briefing on KMAP material and were asked to update and complete the Knowledge Map in each Division where the participants were assigned.

As an output of this activity, participants were also asked to create Knowledge Documentation from each updated and complete Strategic Knowledge Map.

Alvin Soleh conveyed to the participants, “that the purpose of Knowledge Management is to create added value and increase the company’s competitiveness through effective knowledge management, to improve the company’s performance and productivity, and to develop useful and sustainable innovations”.

There are 3 levels of Knowledge, including Basic Knowledge, Advance Knowledge, and Innovative Knowledge. In Basic Knowledge, basic knowledge is a prerequisite for being able to do a job well (not making mistakes). Advanced Knowledge is knowledge gained from experience. This knowledge adds value to the results of the work. Innovative Knowledge is knowledge gained from a combination of experience and continuous learning outcomes. This knowledge makes a difference and creates great added value.

“Knowledge Map (KM) identifies the knowledge needed to do work effectively and create added value. It is hoped that participants can implement KM in their daily work, motivate teams and colleagues to utilize KM, and collaborate in utilizing KM in their work.”, explained Alvin Soleh.

When asked for separate information, the President Director of PT. Prima Pengembangan Kawasan (PT. PPK), said “Management fully supports the participation of PT. PPK employees in the KMAP Batch 4 Refreshment activity. It is expected that all employees can apply KM in daily activities to realize work effectiveness and efficiency, increase productivity and performance, and produce innovations that can be useful so that the Company can be competitive and continue to be at the forefront amidst global competition”. The KMAP Batch 4 Refreshment activity was declared complete and closed after the participants created and submitted Knowledge Documentation from each Strategic Knowledge Map according to the template distributed by the Committee and the Participants also took a group photo.
