Medan, October 2024 — PT. Prima Pembangunan Kawasan (PT. PPK), a subsidiary of PT. Pelindo Solusi Logistik which is part of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia/Pelindo (Persero) conducted correspondence with the Acting Regent of Batubara at the Batu Bara Regent’s Office.
The presence of PT. PPK was represented by the Acting Director, Sutanto, and accompanied by the VP of Law, Arief Maulana Lubis. They were received by the Acting Regent of Batubara, H. Heri Wahyudi Marpaung who was accompanied by Assistant II (Bambang Hadisuprapto), the Transportation Service (Rubi Anto Sari Siboro), the Head of the Legal Division (Dede Irfan), the Head of the Economic and Trade Division (Hardiman Sihombing), the Head of the Manpower and Trade Service (Bukhari Imran), and the DPMPTSP (Mei Linda Suryanti Lubis).
On that occasion, Sutanto, conveyed the progress of the development of the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Area to the Acting Regent and OPD (Regional Apparatus Organization) of Batu Bara Regency. “We ask for the assistance of the Acting Regent to support the development of the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Area and hope to help facilitate the processing of permits and the entry of investment into the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Area,” he said.
The existence of the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Area in the future is expected to absorb thousands of workers and improve the economy of the surrounding community and advance development in the Kuala Tanjung area in particular and Batu Bara Regency in general.
Welcoming the request of PT. Prima Pembangunan Kawasan, the Acting Regent of Batu Bara is committed to supporting development in the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Area. “I and the ranks of the Batu Bara OPD will support the entry of investment and hope that the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Area can operate soon. The Batu Bara Regency Government will help facilitate the processing of permits and assistance needed by PT. Prima Pengembangan Kawasan,” he said.
The Batu Bara Regency Government hopes that the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Area can operate soon and can open up employment opportunities for young people in Kuala Tanjung and its surroundings.
On that occasion, the Acting Regent. The Regent also hopes that PT. Prima Pembangunan Kawasan and Pelindo Group, which run their businesses in Kuala Tanjung, will pay attention and provide assistance to communities affected by extreme poverty around Kuala Tanjung in the form of distributing the TJSL (Social and Environmental Responsibility) program.
