Medan, December 2024 — Approaching the end of 2024, PT. Prima Pengembangan Kawasan (PPK), as a subsidiary of PT. Pelindo Solusi Logistik (PT. PSL), which is part of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) (Pelindo Group), continues to carry out activities to fulfill its work program.
Acting Director of PT. Prima Pengembangan Kawasan, Sutanto, conveyed the achievements of the company’s work program that had been achieved until the end of 2024. “This year we have completed one milestone of PT PPK, namely the completion of the implementation of land acquisition phase I, where the land execution process was completed in March 2024.”
“The PT. PPK team has successfully implemented GCG management, external communication programs, and brand guideline implementation; TJSL and employee social responsibility programs; integrated learning and development programs; integrated key performance indicator management; internalization of corporate culture; implementation of innovation ideas; and fulfillment of Permen 02 of 2023 concerning risk management,” he said.
The achievements in the investment sector are the completion of the land acquisition process for public interest in the context of the development of the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Area. The company is also carrying out initial infrastructure development such as fencing and land clearing. In the marketing sector, the company has signed an MoU with several prospective investors, both domestic and foreign, including marketing cooperation with PT. KINRA (Kawasan Industri Nusantara) and PT. KIM (Kawasan Industri Medan). In the field of public relations, the company has organized a TJSL (Social and Environmental Responsibility) program including a reforestation program, provision of sacrificial animal assistance, and provision of Ramadan assistance. In the context of legal assistance and asset security, PT. PPK has received assistance from the Batu Bara District Attorney’s Office and the Indrapura Police Sector.
In 2025, the company will continue the development of basic infrastructure through the construction of gates and entrance roads, where this development is expected to be a showcase for the implementation of commercialization in KIKT (Kuala Tanjung Industrial Area). 2025 is a challenging year for KIKT because we hope to get investors. We also hope for support from the Central Government through the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of ATR BPN and KPPIP, as well as elements of the North Sumatra Provincial Government and the Batu Bara Regency Government.
