Medan, January 2025 — PT Prima Pengembangan Kawasan (PT. PPK), together with PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or PT. Pelindo (Persero), signed the HOA (Head of Agreement) in the framework of the development and management of the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Area (KIKT).
This aims to be a form of synergy and collaboration within the Pelindo Group environment. The signing of the HoA was carried out by Executive Director 1 of Regional 1 of PT. Pelindo (Persero), Ichwal Fauzi Harahap, with Plt. Director of PT. PPK, Sutanto, which took place at Grha Pelindo Belawan (20/1/2025).
This HoA is the initial step in developing and managing KIKT in order to fulfill the principles of good corporate governance (GCG) and fulfill legal provisions by paying attention to the principle of mutual benefit in utilizing the potential of each party.
Meanwhile, Executive Director 1 of Regional 1 of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) said, “The signing of this HoA is a form of support from PT. Pelindo (Persero) in accelerating the operation of KIKT, which is one of the National Strategic Projects (PSN).” Welcoming this, the Plt. Director of PT. PPK said, “This support is expected to facilitate the processing of permits and certification processes as well as the development and management of KIKT.”
KIKT (Kuala Tanjung Industrial Area) is designed as a strategic industrial area integrated with Kuala Tanjung Port. It is hoped that the immediate operation of KIKT can increase economic activity in Batu Bara Regency and improve the welfare of the people of Kuala Tanjung, North Sumatra. (Advetorial).
