The signing ceremony was held at the office of PT Prima Multi Terminal in the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Area.

The MoU was signed by Sutanto, Director of PT PPK, and Ramzan Razali, Director and Founder of NRCO. This signing marks a strategic initial step in strengthening collaboration between the two companies in industrial zone development.

The MoU aims to support the construction and management of WTP and WWTP facilities in KIKT, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance infrastructure and promote environmental sustainability in the industrial area.

On this occasion, the Regent of Batu Bara emphasized the importance of collaboration between local government and the private sector in creating an industrial zone that is not only economically progressive but also environmentally friendly.

“Batu Bara has great potential as an industrial and economic hub. With the development of WTP and WWTP in KIKT, we hope to create a sustainable industrial area focused on proper environmental management,” said the Regent of Batu Bara in his speech.

PT PPK and NRCO are committed to promptly commencing the construction of these facilities, which are expected to improve water quality and waste management in the industrial zone while providing long-term benefits for the surrounding community and industries in KIKT.

The development of the WTP and WWTP aligns with PT PPK’s vision to create an industrial area that not only supports economic activities but also prioritizes environmental sustainability. PT PPK hopes this project can serve as a model for other industrial zones in implementing responsible natural resource management technologies.

This event marks a positive step toward developing a more environmentally friendly and sustainable industrial area while further strengthening Indonesia-Malaysia relations in industrial and environmental development sectors.
