Kuala Tanjung (May 15, 2025) – In the spirit of celebrating Eid al-Adha 1446 H and as a form of social responsibility toward the communities around its operational area, PT Prima Pengembangan Kawasan (PT PPK) distributed a sacrificial animal to the residents of Kuala Indah Village through the program “Pelindo Shares Qurbani 1446 H / 2025 AD.”
The symbolic handover of one cow was carried out by the Corporate Secretary of PT PPK, Mr. Zefrinal, to a representative of the Kuala Indah Village community, received directly by the Village Head of Kuala Indah, Mr. Mat Syah, on Wednesday, May 15, 2025.
“Eid al-Adha serves as a reminder for all of us of the importance of sincerity, sharing, and caring for one another. Through the Pelindo Shares Qurbani program, PT PPK is committed to continuing its presence in the community, bringing benefit and fostering close ties with the surrounding environment,” said Zefrinal.
This program is part of the company’s annual agenda and an implementation of its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL). Each year, PT PPK strives to distribute qurbani animals to villages around the Kuala Tanjung industrial area as a tangible expression of the company’s values of sustainability and social care.
Village Head of Kuala Indah, Mr. Mat Syah, also expressed his appreciation for the attention given by PT PPK to the residents of Kuala Indah Village.
“We extend our gratitude to PT Prima Pengembangan Kawasan for the qurbani animal donation. This is not only a form of concern but also a strengthening of the relationship between the company and the community. We hope that this kind of synergy will continue and bring broader benefits in the future,” said Mat Syah.
In a separate occasion, Acting Director of PT PPK, Mr. Sutanto, stated that the qurbani activity is not merely an annual ceremony but also a reflection of the company’s concern for the community.
“The spirit behind this qurbani is to strengthen the sense of togetherness and sharing. We hope this activity can serve as a bridge of kinship that strengthens the synergy between the company and the community around the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Area,” explained Sutanto.
