Medan, 3 March 2026 — PT Prima Pengembangan Kawasan (PPK) continues to show its commitment in encouraging the development of the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Zone through the construction of basic infrastructure as the initial stage of zone development. Until now, the construction of the zone gate and the entrance road (access road) has been completed as the main access to the industrial zone development area.
The construction of this basic infrastructure becomes an important initial step in the development process of the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Zone. The zone gate and entrance road will function as the main access to the zone while supporting the mobility of operational vehicles in the next development stage.
Sutanto, Acting Director of PT Prima Pengembangan Kawasan conveyed that the construction of this basic infrastructure becomes an important foundation before the industrial zone is developed further.
“The completion of the construction of this gate and entrance road is part of the initial stages of the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Zone development. This basic infrastructure becomes an important step to support the readiness of the zone in attracting investment as well as supporting the development of the industrial zone gradually in the future,” said Sutanto.
The development of the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Zone is designed to be an industrial zone that is integrated with the logistics ecosystem and port in the Kuala Tanjung area. The existence of this zone is expected to encourage regional economic growth, increase industrial activity, as well as open new investment opportunities in North Sumatra.
In the future, PT Prima Pengembangan Kawasan will continue the construction of various other supporting infrastructures gradually in order to prepare an industrial zone that is modern, integrated, and competitive.
