Medan, 28 July 2026 – PT Prima Pengembangan Kawasan (PT PPK) continues to strengthen collaboration with stakeholders to accelerate investment in the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Estate (KIKT). One of these efforts was carried out through an audience and consultation meeting with the North Sumatra Provincial Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP), held at the North Sumatra Provincial DPMPTSP Office on Tuesday (28/7).

During the meeting, PT PPK was represented by Senior Manager of Engineering Budi Setiadi and Senior Manager of Corporate Secretary Khairun Nisa. The delegation was received by Evayanti Panjaitan and the officials of the North Sumatra Provincial DPMPTSP.

The meeting formed part of PT PPK’s efforts to align the development plan for the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Estate with various investment licensing and regulatory aspects, thereby providing greater convenience for prospective investors seeking to invest in the estate.

PT PPK Senior Manager of Engineering, Budi Setiadi, stated that synergy with the regional government is an important factor in creating an increasingly competitive investment climate.

“We want to ensure that every stage of the estate’s development is carried out in accordance with the applicable regulations. Through this coordination, we hope investors will gain certainty and convenience when investing in the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Estate,” said Budi.

In addition to discussing the estate’s development progress, the discussion also covered the Port Associated Industry (PAI) development concept, the optimization of industrial land utilization, and the alignment of the Indonesian Standard Industrial Classification (KBLI) with the development of the industrial estate.

PT PPK Senior Manager of Corporate Secretary, Khairun Nisa, added that effective communication between businesses and the government is one of the key factors in accelerating investment realization.

“The Kuala Tanjung Industrial Estate has great potential to support industrial and logistics growth in North Sumatra. Therefore, collaboration with all stakeholders is essential to ensure that the investment process can be carried out more effectively and provide benefits for both the regional and national economy,” she said.

Through this audience, PT PPK hopes that coordination with the North Sumatra Provincial DPMPTSP will continue as part of a joint effort to create a conducive investment ecosystem while supporting the accelerated development of the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Estate as one of the national strategic industrial estates.
