The Kuala Tanjung Industrial Area (KIKT), integrated with Kuala Tanjung Port, is located in Batu Bara Regency, North Sumatra Province, Indonesia, situated directly on the Malacca Strait, which is the busiest shipping route in the world. KIKT is approximately 110 km from Medan City, 152 km from Belawan Port, 43 km from the Sei Mangkei Special Economic Zone (KEK), and 116 km from Kualanamu International Airport.
