Medan, 20 March 2026 – PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) Regional 1 once again organized the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program through the Flag Off Mudik Gratis (Free Homecoming) 2026 activity held at the Pelindo Krakatau Office, Medan.
Carrying the theme “Safe Mudik, Sharing Hope” this program aims to provide safe, comfortable, and affordable homecoming facilities for the community in welcoming the Eid al-Fitr 1447 H.
In its implementation, PT Prima Pengembangan Kawasan (PPK) participated as part of the Pelindo Group in supporting the implementation of this program as a form of real contribution to the community.
This year, Pelindo Regional 1 dispatched a total of 170 participants with three destination routes, namely:
• Medan – Aceh
• Medan – Pekanbaru
• Medan – Padang
The send-off activity for the mudik participants was officially carried out by the Executive Director of Regional 1 Pelindo, Jonedi Ramli, together with the Director of HR and General Affairs of Pelindo Multi Terminal, Edi Priyatno.
In his remarks, Jonedi Ramli conveyed that this program is a form of Pelindo’s commitment to providing direct benefits to the community.
“Through this Free Mudik program, we hope to help the community return to their hometowns more safely and comfortably, and to strengthen the ties of silaturahmi with family during the Hari Raya moment,” he said.
Meanwhile, Edi Priyatno added that Pelindo’s TJSL programs continue to be directed toward providing sustainable social impact.
“The presence of Pelindo is expected not only as a port operator, but also as a company that has social concern and provides added value to the community,” he expressed.
Through this Free Mudik program, Pelindo also strives to support the smoothness of the homecoming flow and help reduce traffic congestion on land routes.
With the participation of PT Prima Pengembangan Kawasan in this activity, it is hoped that the synergy between Pelindo Group entities can continue to provide positive contributions and expand the benefits for the community.
