Medan, 28 September 2026 – PT Prima Pengembangan Kawasan (PT PPK) received a field visit from PT Danareksa (Persero) as part of the implementation of the BUMN Industrial Estate Consolidation Program, on Monday (14/9) at the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Estate (KIKT). The visit was conducted to obtain a more comprehensive overview of the condition and potential of the estate as part of the process of preparing a study on the consolidation of BUMN industrial estates.
PT Danareksa (Persero) was appointed by PT Danantara Aset Management to prepare a study of several industrial estate objects as well as assets with the potential to be developed into industrial estates, including those managed by PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero).
During the visit, the PT Danareksa (Persero) team conducted a direct review of the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Estate while also holding discussions with the management of PT PPK. The review was conducted to obtain an actual overview of the condition of the estate as well as aspects that are part of the study. These include legal, financial, taxation, operational, commercial, technical, environmental, human resources, and licensing aspects.
The Director of PT Prima Pengembangan Kawasan, Dr. Sutanto, together with the management of PT PPK, also accompanied the field visit. On the occasion, PT PPK provided a presentation on the condition of the estate, infrastructure development, as well as the future development potential of the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Estate.
The field visit also served as a discussion forum between PT PPK and PT Danareksa (Persero) to take a closer look at the potential of the estate as well as development opportunities that can be optimized. The direct review is expected to provide a more comprehensive perspective in the process of preparing the study for the BUMN Industrial Estate Consolidation Program.
Regional Coordinator of PT Danareksa (Persero), Herman Syafi’I, together with a team consisting of Aditya Rahman, Ryan Cipta Kusuma, Renny Kamal, and Kevin HM Aritonang, also participated in the series of visits and discussions with the management of PT PPK.
For PT PPK, this visit was an important part of introducing the condition and potential of the Kuala Tanjung Industrial Estate as an estate developed within the Pelindo Group ecosystem. Through the exchange of information and discussions conducted, it is hoped that a more comprehensive understanding can be obtained regarding development opportunities and the optimization of the estate in supporting the direction of the BUMN Industrial Estate consolidation.
The BUMN Industrial Estate consolidation program is expected to encourage the creation of increasingly integrated and effective estate management and be able to optimize the potential of assets owned by BUMN. PT PPK will continue to support the coordination process and the provision of information required throughout the study process.
